The UAE’s Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research now requires that any foreign degree has to meet at least one of four global ranking thresholds to be officially recognized
These measures, established during a virtual briefing, apply to both scholarship and fee‑paying Emirati students studying abroad. The objectives are to ensure academic quality, protect student interests, elevate international program standards, and boost national development.
