Saudi Arabia is experiencing a surge in executive education, driven by the country's Vision 2030 initiative to diversify its economy and develop local talent. International business schools such as Spain’s IESE and IE, London Business School (LBS), and Babson College in the U.S. are expanding their presence in the Kingdom, launching partnerships, offices, and custom programs tailored to Saudi Arabia's corporate and governmental sectors.
LBS, for example, plans to reach over 10,000 Saudi executives by 2030, reflecting the strong demand for leadership development and specialized training in areas like digital transformation and sustainability. The growth in executive education aligns with Saudi Arabia's broader efforts to create a knowledge-based economy and reduce dependence on oil revenues.
The emphasis on in-country training also highlights a shift towards cost-effective, locally accessible education that meets global standards, further supporting the Kingdom's ambitious transformation goals.
