Dubai's KHDA Releases 2025–2026 School Calendar

The Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) has published the official academic calendar for Dubai's private schools for the 2025–2026 academic year. The calendar provides key dates for schools operating on both April and September start schedules.

For September-start schools:

  • Start of academic year: Monday, August 25, 2025

  • Winter break: Begins Monday, December 15, 2025

  • Spring break: Begins Monday, March 23, 2026

  • End of academic year: No earlier than Friday, June 26, 2026

For April-start schools:

  • Start of academic year: Monday, April 7, 2025

  • Summer break: Begins Monday, June 30, 2025

  • Winter break: Begins Monday, December 15, 2025

  • End of academic year: March 2026 (subject to fulfilling 182 instructional days)

The KHDA mandates a minimum of 182 instructional days for all private schools, ensuring consistency and quality in education across the emirate
