Latvia Introduces AI-Based Quality Assurance System for Higher Education

Riga, June 2025 – Latvia’s Ministry of Education has announced the rollout of an AI-powered quality assurance platform for universities and private institutions. This system will monitor academic integrity, student engagement, and curriculum delivery in real time. It is being piloted with the support of ENQA and EURASHE. The platform may become a model for other EU countries aiming to integrate digital governance in higher education.
